Cheers, Going to try them now.

There not for me or my system as BF2 froze & RFactor was kind of Grainy. Gone back to the old reliable & smooth running 93.71's.

See NVIDIA Knowledgebase Article #2064 for instructions.

through the trees when HDR and NVIDIA Control Panel antialiasing

antialiasing is enabled. [308826]

game for awhile.[301780]

• GeForce 8800 GTX: Lost Planet: Extreme Condition– the game crashes
after the player destroys some objects in mission 01. [302251]

hard reboot. [325400]
• GeForce 8500/8400/8300: “Could not create the Direct3D device”
message appears when previewing a 3D screen saver in Dualview
mode.[299992]

I actually didn't see the XP bit in the title at first mate ;)

:p

These are great these, got 9019 in 06 (think thats gone up about 10pts :D ), and just done 2x rally's in Dirt, that seems to be running much better, had a quick run about on Stalker to which still runs great, and also the IQ looks to have improved in these drivers as well, so these will do me. :)

Gonna test new out right now >>> GRAW2 SP Demo (1.77GiG), MP was good maxed on my old rig, but I only got 1GiG ram till tomorrow as my 2GiG will arrive, as I got rid that crap 4GiG kit and got loan of this stick. :D

FFS, came back from walking dog and this mobo again froze PC at end of download as it was transfering from TEMP Folder to Desktop, another 1.77GiG lost.

Are you sure its the mootherboard? If the PC is crashing all the time it sound more like faulty ram or possible a software problem.

Download Memtest 86 and burn it onto a CD and run that for 8 hours to see if you get any errors.

Wrote about it days ago, all new parts, Asus Crosshairs can be dodgy, I have tried 2 diff ram kits/psu/ ran out of case as of (grounding as ps2 dont work on bootup till I unplug/replug)

I am left with CPU/GPU or Mobo and I have passed all stress tests even OC'd, its random, it can be under stress or at idle jsut freezes no BSOD, I need reset it, blue led screen on rear of mobo flashes on and off with no fault codes just current time ticking away.

I have tried diff bios, diff drivers/apps its nothing like that, also read 100's of posts on Google about Crosshairs, my bios was well older so mobo is probably older stock but is a rev 1.04G not sure if you get newer ones.

Edit. Also tried 3 diff HDD's all Sata's.

How long did you stress it for.

Long enough, 3 hours, I cant really be without PC for long, I have overclocked all my days and know if it passes that it will not crash elsewhere, 18-24 hours of prime is not suited to my life.

I have a bad part, and CPU's rarely are faulty and since it can OC to 3.3GiG and pass 3 hours its prob ok, same for GPU OC'd to 705/1180 for 1 hour in ATI TOOL, no game will do that too it.

PSU was tested in old rig and also used a multimeter on all 12v rails, 5v and 3.3v, all are solid and + readings under full load OC'd.

Google input from peeps points to a lot of dodgy Crosshairs.

Once PC is working normally and I do go for max OC, I will run stress tests overnight (12-14hours).

Most restarts I have to unplug/replug in mouse/keyboard, also if I BACKSPACE over this text to DELETE it it is slow as hell to move cursor, seem s a power issue on mobo.
