I can't decide , i have always been using ATi cards , but now looks like NVIDIA would be better if you compare performance , but then again ATI is quite Cheep comparing the small difference in performance you get from thouse to cards !
Need your advice , once again ! ATI or Nvidia and any clue's which of them would perform better in upcoming DX Games ?

cheers

2900 Is in between a GTS/GTX you gotta ask your self if the GTX is worth that extra outlay.
Well yeah but ppl been talking that ATI 2900 series might be better in DX10 in upcoming games with new drivers , couse of the long but accurate Ati delay ! Could that be true , or there is one way to find it out ..................''Wait and we will see'' lol

I'd rather just get an 640MB 8800 GTS or a 512MB 2900 XT at that resolution really, but hey that's me :)

Well i took it as one of the 2900's at £328 or the GTX at £328, but ive just seen a whole £28 has been knocked off the 1gb. :p

Id still say the GTX over the 512mb 2900, epsecially if hes considering spwening the £328. :)

GTX is more futre proof, you'll be able to use lots more AA/AF etc at that res to, but if you want to spend as little as possible, then either the 512mb XT, or the 640mb GTS. :)
Yeah , it makes me really think and i can't decide!

As above if you gaming at that resolution i would go for hd2900xt or 8800gts
640. If you like ati the hd2900xt won't dissapoint and is getting better every
month with new driver releases. The 8800gts 640 also a good card for the
money its a win win situation either way. With dx10 its pretty much wait and
see as i don't think either company has really optimised there drivers for it
yet as there ain't much point atm with no real dx10 games out.

Check out some of the updated reviews with the GTS/2900 then make your mind up, there both as good as each other, both cracking cards. :)
