A person from http://www.i4u.com spoke to a Crytek employee at E3.
That employee told that Crysis may have some problems with Vista, under some hardware configurations, so they have to
wait for release of new GPU drivers to work with them on game.
"Vista is not stable in some cases, connected with games, under some hardware configurations"-he said.

That person, from http://www.i4u.com, tells us that there are problems with
SLI 8800 Ultra under Vista: games unload after some time of playing.

Crytek has been waiting for more stable Vista GPU drivers, thats why game release
is being delayed (the same about MULTIPLAYER BETA).

Grr its all nvidias fault

best to delay it otherwise if they release it and it keeps crashing people will blame the game and not the gfx card drivers. and since crysis is designed from the ground up to be dx10 its quite ironic that its unstable in vista yet fine in xp.

no rush for this game, i can wait, since this is one game really worth waiting for. rather they do it right and take thier time about it. otherwise we got another raibow 6 vegas / test drive unlimited on our hands.

Well nvidia did mess up, still even with the 163.11 beta's (with modded ini to work on my 6800) some stuff is still unstable.
I can wait, so I can play crysis nice and stable, least crytek doesn't rush a release and makes time to bug it out first.

Sounds like Bs seeing as at e3 the game was meant to be showcased exclusively on vista and dx10.

Why would they delay it just because a few cards are having problems?

That's just stupid, surely the people with the problems could try different drivers or just disable Sli for the time being.

he's gonna be in for a shock, apparently according to nzone forums nvidia may be getting some revenge on ati over the hl2 scandal. won;t be surprised if x2900 only gets 10fps at 640x480 with all settings at low

Yep, crysis is a ''The Way It's Meant To Be Played'' game, so nvidia's a priority

. Jesus, Mav sometimes I wonder if their actually is a brain in there or not. As for 2900 running at 10fps 640x480, rather funny that since I speak to QA testers who have been testing Crysis for month's on the HD2900 + Other ATi card's and as far as I know there drivers for the game are ready

and performance is up there. So I reckon you should quit while your ahead Mav, your out of your league as per usual.

Well obviously the QA testers are going to say the drivers are ready. There not going to turn around and go "What is this 'Crysis' you speak of :confused:

Hardly I can name a few TWIMTBP games that perform just as good on the ATi cards or better. It's a marketing scheme that works very well I might add don't let it sucker you in aswell. It means jack ****.

agreed, these days its wise not to believe everything you hear, the info i read could be complete blag rumoured up to reduce 2900 sales etc.

only way to really know whats what is as you said the proof will be in the drivers once they are out. just got to wait and see how things pan out.

Nah I don't know tbh, I don't care for brand anymore all I want is performance and stability and value for money, wether it's an s3, 3dfx, intel, nvidia or amd gpu...

Yea ok maybe in this gen, but when it was X1000 series against the 7 series it showed the TWIMTPB program is a load of marketing rubbish. ATi actually had a scheme called "Get In The Game" but I believe they canned it.
