I am thinking of getting the Leadtek GeForce 8800 Ultra Leviathan just wondered if anyone had tried one of these and had any problems with its operaton or problems with mounting or clearance spacing.

I am having to get a later version of the coolermaster stacker 810 that has two rear 120 mm fans to mount it in due to already using one fan slot for a coolit systems Freezone CPU cooler.

Any feedback appreciated.

The card comes with its own cooling system that why I need a second 120mm Fan slot at the back of the case to mount the fan/radiator.

Think he means what other watercooling is going with the card for the CPU etc? Maybe

The CPU is on a Coolit systems Freezone Peltier effect cooler.

The Leviathan comes with its own sealed cooling unit.

I was just interested to know if anyone has tried the Leviathan yet?

It looks mint, and size wise, i cant see it being a problem, does the main cooling unit mount inside or outside the case.

The main cooler unit mounts inside the case in the place of the 120mm rear fan, I just had a few concerns over this but I guess I will just have to try it and see how i get on.

There is an sli version which come preassembled so both units use the same cooling radiator, I would consider this if my motherboard supported SLI but at the moment I am using a P35.

Hardest thing has been finding a case which has two rears 120mm fan slots with enough clearance for mounting the Freezone and the leviathans cooler.

Seems a bit of a gimmick to me. I dont think thats a worthy upgrade to your 8800gtx. Wouldnt it be better to wait for the nvidia 9800 ? also, how impressed would you be with someone having a water-cooled 7800gtx ?? Well thats all you will have once the 9800's arrive. I would keep your £££ for now

Well I finally decieded to just go ahead and buy one of the Levaithans and after going and getting a new stacker 810 with dual rear 120mm fans so I could run the freezone cooler along side the Leviathan I now find I cant fit the leviathan, I checked it would fit the case but because I bought a P35-DQ6 I found that the copper cooler fins on the motherboard get in the way, not a huge problem as I am getting a X38 motherboard once they become available and from what I have seen the new board wont have the same cooling fins in the way.

I did install and test the Leviathan and from initally results I am impressed, its a great unit and the cooler runs very quiet , I managed to push up my 3Dmark06 up to over 16000 with a little bit of tweaking but I didnt push it to the maximum .

Ge force Leviathan

Hi i have just recently got one of these and they are spot on,runs very silent and cool 25 to 30 degrees,no problem with fitting and i have a full water kit in for CPU.
If youve got he cash go for it, latest games no problems at all.:):):)

yeah i second that ....this is a nice water cooled card,(great clock speeds to) and the price isnt to deara...only on thing is im sure you need a bigger case for these cards....:D
