A recommendation with added updates

New to the forums and I searched to see if this mod has ever been mentioned.
Completely free game overall, I present to you,
True Combat: Elite <clicky

Definitely worth checking this one out, it seems like a whole different game compared to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Movement feels right, weapons are great, no crosshairs.

If you like CS:S then you should really try this out.

# Download and install Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Version 2.6.

# Download and install TrueCombat:Elite 0.49.

# Download and install TrueCombat:Elite 0.49b Update.

*Might also be worth mentioning that when entering a server you might need to download a load of maps, but patience is a virtue!*

There's loads of empty ones

About 6 low-ping 32 player servers, each time I go on the game it's easy to find a nice busy server.

Quite annoying, but worth it in the end. If some of the mirrors are slow then there's plenty more, you'll find them on the website or you can ask me to find them for you

Just a note, when playing for the first time join an "official server".*

*This is so you don't have to download a ton of new maps. Of course, if you decide to like the game you'll want to download them - by joining a different server.
