Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts open beta!

Let's hope the client is pre-patched, I remember the closed beta, you downloaded over a gig of data, then after several 4 - 5 meg patches, a > 300mb patch and a > 700mb patch I decided I'd had enough and uninstalled it, besides, it was multiplayer only, mp doesn't interest me.
 
Been playing the closed beta for about a week or so now. Hopefully opening the beta up to the public will encourage Relic to sort out Relic Online quick, its pretty appalling in its current state tbf. The game itself is great fun though - loving the Panzer Elite!
 
It was almost useable in vCOH iirc, at least for me anyway. When I was playing CoH a few months ago I was having no problems with Relic Online. RO in OF is like being back to square one with the vCOH beta last year.
 
Never had a problem with Relic Online :s

Maybe when some players cant connec to others, but thats no biggy

I just tried to install the client but it won't, just says it couldn't be installed, access is denied.

I have a closed beta key which I got but never used it, think it'll work with this open beta?
 
12 mins and I'd be able to tell you if I get the same problem !

Well it has installed fine and even downloaded a small 3.5mb patch but I can't seem to login with my CoH login (at least I think im getting it right - its saved in CoH so I don't enter it every time!)

Anyone know if this requires setting up a new account just for the mp beta ?

Oh and KingAdora it is just MP - the skirmish and SP buttons are greyed out ...
