AUX running at 125Celcius

Hey guys, I'm a real newb in this area, I know about putting the PC together, But when it gets to things like this im "Huh?". I know about the 15Celcius diff with speedfan but i have two questions

What's the AUX in my PC, I've never seen it come up in speedfan before?

And why the heck is it running at this temperature?

To find your CPU's temperature sensor you can leave your system idle for a few minutes, to let temperatures drop, and then go to 100% usage for a while. The temperature that rises faster is the one you're searching for. Other available temperature readings usually come from your sensor chip itself, from the southbridge, the voltage regulator, or even from an additional probe placed under the processor. This additional temperature sensor is not necessarily a duplicate. Some CPUs are not actually able to report the internal temperature from their die. To be able to read their temperatures, an additional external sensor (thermocouple) is used. In such cases, you will see two temperatures referring to the processor. The higher of the two is from the die. As a final note, please remember that not all available temperature sensors are actually connected to something. If you happen to read unusually high or low temps, they are likely to be from a disconnected (unused) temperature sensor.

Yeah but it's strange, I used SensorView pro 3.1 [downloaded it somewhere] and it mentioned my System was at 125Celcius?
 
It will be the PWM, or mosfets. They can run silly hot but not THAT hot. It's probably an innacurate reading.
 
if it doesnt change.. i think that means the PC doesnt have such thermometer(Thermister).. meaning nothing to worry about..
 
is there any chance they could "pop" ? Or burn out?

I just felt the top of them and it felt beyond hot, i have a little red square on my finger now.
 
I have only ever see one motherboard go bang and that was due to an underpowered PSU - 450w Enermax on an Athlon XP machine with loads of HDD's. So it is possible. Just not likely.

The next time someone tells you that something could be over 100c, don't put your finger on it! LMAO.
 
I know :P The last time i built a pc i had the problem with no signal going to the monitor, then before that i had a foxconn board [never again] which worked for a day, then the IDE died, then it wouldn't even go into BIOS, eventually it died. RMA'd it back, was faulty of course and a few of my mates also brought the board and had the same problem. So hence me worrying about this one :P Anything out of the ordinary!

But! are you sure it's a dud reading? It is hot!

Can i just ask something guys, I'm on a Q6600 G0 and i'm using the stock cooling for the moment, I have a akasa but it's annoying to fit, So just checking is these temps are right?

are these about right for a stock cooler and this cpu? I'm asking because maybe i didn't seat it right or something.
