UBIs official position on this is below:

The Ubisoft promotion allowing gamers to download and play the ad-supported PC games Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Far Cry, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon and Rayman Raving Rabbids for PC was a promotion designed exclusively for the US market over the Labor Day weekend. The promotion has now closed and consequently the hosting of files is no longer recommended.

LOL now that is a good new development! So they release a game for free but with ads, without multiplayer support, without CD keys, and just for the weekend?

They may as well have linked everyone to a warez server for the weekend.

Aparently someon somewhere thought it was a good idea...
Coudl have been a coup if it had been managed right, and given the online FC community a much needed shot in the arm...

Personnaly I could have done without the dozens of people complaining in 2 dozen threads on the UBI forum.... :rolleyes:

I played it last nite, still get the message at the beginning but no more ads anywhere. Result; they should do this more often

Well just go to the shops nad buy a copy its only 5 squid these days and possibly one the of the best games i have ever played and the multi player is awesome
