Got a Tefal Quick Cup kettle today...

Anyone else got one? They are awesome! Instant hot water, can make a cuppa tea in less than a minute now.

Our other kettle bust so they offered to exchange it for whatever we wanted.

What wattage is it? and what wattage are normal kettles.

Normal kettle are about 2.2-3kw I think.

It's mum's birthday on November 18th so I'll probably buy her this as an early present aside from the stuff I was going to get her anyway, she's been going on about getting a water filter and her kettle is way too heavy for her to lift (even when empty) so it looks like this will be ideal.

I'd love to 'race' one of these new machines, if anything they seem extremely expensive!

I'm sure my kettle will boil all of the water I need for one cup in less than a minute, providing you don't put way more water in than necessary then it doesn't take long to boil some water at all.

Is it actually boiled water coming out or just warm water?

I saw the advert and i was sold but wanted to know if the water has been boiled.

Does it matter? I doubt you drink your brew while it's "boiling" hot.

I imagine it's a fair bit hot though or these things would be returned like mad.
