Football Manager 08 Question

Hi

Just bought this game, and am a bit confused, its around August and I still dont have a job, there are no teams looking for managers, but in the job centre there are teams wanting coaches etc... do I have to be patient and wait for anotehr manager position, or can i apply to a coach, goalkeeping coach etc... job?

Human players can only apply for managerial positions in the FM games.

Might have been a good idea to post in http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17790933. Would get more replies and quicker that way.

In the other versions you always pick a club to start at, just start again and pick a club to manage this time

Yeah just start again and you select any club you want at the start.

it'll prob be around november before any sackings start happening and you can start applying for jobs, bear in mind that the jobs available will be lower league teams that are in the bottom half of their respective leagues.

if you dont want a challenge, start a new game with the team of your choice
