Quick question about 8000GT

From what i know they are all made in the same places with different brand names stuck on them. What usually differs is the warrenty and games bundled with the card.
 
Yer ive got a X1950Pro, but when I load up TF2 or COD4 the PC crashes after about 5minutes. Can you please give me some advice on what I can try to resolve my problem guys?

I had same problem with my x1900xtx and cod 4. I never did find the problem out but i think it was the card dieing as all the problems were resolved when i put my hd3870xt into the machine. Thing was i could play cod 4 sp with no crashing from the little i played but as soon as i played mp it would lock the whole machine up after 5-10 mins of playing. When playing eve online i would get slight artifacts now and then so i think it had to have been the card. I read around a little and other people had similar problems and thought it was the voltage regulator that was causing the problem.
 
Thanks, in windows everything graphically seems fine tho my res is 1920x1200. Can that still happen that windows can run fine, but when you try a game thats when the problems happen?

Running vista X64 aswell with all the eye candy on.

Can you recomend a cheapish card that I could get?

Ive not overclocked it, would it help doing that?
