Hello, I am building a new system, was wondering if it was the right forum to post a config (maybe it should be more in general), to know your advice about how overclockable it will be.

I just put the whole config just to know if there were also any issues on this build that are well known.

Any help is much appreciated : )
Tony

What resolutions do you game at? You might want to change the GTS for a GTX since the price is about the same now. Also, i would suggest going with X38, maybe the Gigabyte one? Pci-e 2 might be useful if you intend on keeping your set up for some time

Took the wide screen because I do some programming for work at home also and read a lot of documents at the same time, and I could also use it for my Wii.

In fact I was even thinking about going for a simple GT and wait for the next generation of cards to be released next year so the price will come down to upgrade.

Changed the board, but I am alit bit scared because in the database of the forum there is no X38 on air overclocked at 3.6GHz ...

Thanks for the tips : )

I would change the psu to a Corsair and there is no need for vista ultimate, home prem is fine.

Changed to this PSU after reading this review:
