Rockstar collection now on steam

This made me want to play Vice City again. But it doesn't seem to like my 360 controller and I don't have my PS2 to PC converter anymore. :( Tis a sad night.

So £30 (ish) for how many games? Sounds like a good deal to me.
Remember to add tax on top of that, and PayPal's currency conversion charges (nicely hidden in a slightly-lower-than-normal exchange rate) if you use it, so it could add up to £40. Still, it's not a bad deal if you've not played any or many of the games, but for me the Max Payne bundle will do nicely. I don't quite understand why they don't offer GTA1, 2 and that other game for free, seeing as though they can be downloaded straight from Rockstar anyway.

Surely the steam versions will have better controller configs? Thats all I want to know before I start to download them.

I doubt anything would have changed TBH. Maybe its my setup though and not the game. I'll try and fix it tomorrow, too late now.

Sounds like a right billy bargain, all those games for <£40
Of course, most people likely have played some/all of them. But Vice City, San Andreas, and the two MP titles are all superb.

Funny thing is I was just sitting on the toilet reading my latest subscription copy of pczone and they mentioned max payne. It dawned on me Ive never finished max payne 2 so may have to take this up.

Does Max Payne 1 on Steam work on Vista x64? I cannot get my MP1 CD to install on Vista x64.

Doubt it. Max Payne has problems on Vista - there's no sound for starters. You have to change all the sound files to a different format!

MP1 did not install or run well in XP (crashes all the time), you had to grab a Pre-Install Patch, run it, then install the Game, then Update Patch it. (no crashes).

It will be the same story for Vista, and may need XP-SP2 Compat Mode.
