Interesting take, I think the 3rd picture has potential, but it could be a lot better if there was some eye contact happening. I have found the best way is to compose your shot and then wait, then as soon as someone looks into your lens press the shutter. That way it's not like you are photographing them specifically, but you get the eye contact which can make a shot a lot more interesting :)
 
None of them strike me apart from the third one. It's an interesting photograph but I feel it is let down greatly by a lack of sharpness and as robmiller says, a drab, flat conversion.

Experiment with the contrast and levels and have a play about with different methods of B&W conversions. A bit of a tinker with #3 and you'll be onto a winner.
 
Cheers for the feedback guys. I think you're right - the B&W conversions could improve the shots a lot.

I think I will go back and re-shoot the idea for number 4, and re-post process 1+3.
