I bought the EX-01 headset which has to be the worse headset ever, are they all like this? Seems like a waste of cash to me. It crackles way too much with the PS3 and can be a bit frustrating to pair it up.

I tested the headset with my Nokia n95 and surprisingly its clear, which makes me think its a ps3 BT issue.

What ones are people recommending?

How close do you sit from your PS3? I sit close but i use a usb headset (skype one) seems far better than most BT ones ive used (and it dont fall out of me ears)

I use a USB Logitech one, it's great. Far better than a Bluetooth one I'd tried.

yep agree, this is mine

Yea id avoid bluetooth ones tbh, ive had major pairing issues with mine in the past. Annoying really as there is a list on the official playstation forums with all the headsets that are compatible etc. Choose one from that but still experienced pairing issues.

My Jabra one that came with Warhawk has never given me any issues. Sound quality is lacking though, as someone mentioned further up.

I personally wouldn't use a USB one because the cable is too inconvenient.

If only there was something like the 360 one where you plug it into the controller.

I'd been using a Motorola H350 since release, with *very* limited success. Basically, it would occasionally turn off my controllers!

I've since bought some Sony-Ericsson thing, which is *vastly* superior. It was about £30 for a supermarket. I can't fault it to be honest.

Having done a bit of research ALL motorola headsets have connectivity problems with the PS3, so steer clear!

Ive got 2 bluetooth headsets adn I never use them, a USB headset is a lot clearer and a lot less fiddly to set up, and they dont have the mic enabled 24/7, *** mic clicks on when you talk like it does with vent or teamspeak.
