Help choosing a mp3/video player

My mp3 player (creative zen xtra) for stolen so i figured since i need to get a replacement anyway i may aswell go for a fancy video playing jobby too
Digging around the internet i have come up with a short list but i cant decide between them so i put it to you guys (particularly those who have expereince with them) which one should i buy?

Either Sony player for the best sound quality by a considerable distance. The A829 is quite short on supply in general at the moment, I have gone for the A828 instead which is 8gb and also comes with a bluetooth headset (not that I'd use it)....the A829 despite costing more doesn't come with the headset.

so the A828 is the same player, just minus the headphones?
