Hi all
I'm pulling my hair out here, theres nothing on the web that gives an answer to this problem or even attempts to...
I recently picked up Doom 3, Quake 4 and Prey but I'm unable to play any of them. I've tried 'vanilla' installs and fully patched up installs, reinstalled my OS, tried about 10 different nvidia driver versions, compatibility mode, disabled SLI etc etc.
Whenever I launch any of the 3 games, I see the main menu for a split second then I'm dropped back to my desktop, with an error message "idCommon::Frame: the FPU stack is not empty at the end of the frame"
Anybody have any suggestions?
OS is Vista Ultimate X64
Laptop is an XPS M1730 (SLI 8800m GTX cards)
I have no problems running any other games![Frown :( :(](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/frown.gif)
