Someone asked me to do a short review of this when it came so sorry for the slight delay

For £11 it's pretty damn huge considering it's a slightly heavier duty version of a normal mousemat (lower profile too @ half as thick).

Anyways.... It looks nice and feels good, you won't get cold wrists if you get up and use your compy in a cold morning and less likely to need a wrist pad at all if you use one as it's nicely padded.

The "gaming" surface is nice and smooth though not as smooth as my desk surface so it feels a bit weird right now though I'm sure I will get used to it over time.

The underside is non slip rubber and the whole thing is pretty flexible (come rolled up in a tube)

The wristband is useless to me so I use it to hug my camera lens zoom ring as it's just the right size :p

I see it lasting the same time as a normal mousemat since the top surface feels the same as those Kensington ergonomic mousemats and after lots of usage they begin to lose the padded feel in the most used areas and also accumulate moisture/dirt in the fabric material but at £11~ it's easily worthy of being bought again and throwing the old one out I'd say.

I'll see how long this lasts to test this though and maybe buy one for my desk at work too :)

If OCUK sell more of these becaus eof this thread will OCUK give me another for free for my work desk perhaps?*

*oh the cheek!

Well if you have used the same desk for any number of years you will notice the area the mouse moves around on has become shiny or where your palms naturally rest that area has worn out.

Dunno about you but I'd rather an £11 mousemat wear out every 6-12 months than my desk which cannot be easily replaced without cost!

My desk is ten years old, and yes it's different where the mouse and my arm and wrist are, it's gone a bit speckled, but it's fine lol.

Fair enough though I guess.

Made me order one, looks similar to my everglide titan, but that is both too big to go beside the keyboard and too small to go under it.

Probably is a bit extreme :p

On the plus side I won't be using it for gaming but will be using it as a work surface for everything else which it is excellent for!

im debating getting 5 of these to cover my mdf desk as i cant find any vaneer big enough in 1 peice but dunno if they would last.. i also love my steelpads

Did some googling, seems to be a MX Revolution with DPI switching sans side scroll wheel with added AA batteries!

I wonder how much it weighs
