Classy cases? Thing of the past?

Hey guys,

I've been out of the case loop for a good few years now, and I'm still rockin a Coolermaster ATC-201 that i chose in the era of Alu cases by Lian Li and the GOOD designers from Coolermaster, but fancied getting a matching case for the PC that is next to mine (my other halfs), so thought might as well see what's out there!

Had a quick browse around the case section on ocuk and a few others, and I really can't see any cases that don't look either really cheap, or have been dreamt up by a 13 year old let loose with photoshop! Even silverstone who are ATC designers iirc seem to have dropped the ball?

Am i being blind or are there really no classy cases around anymore?

Here's how she looks what must be like 6 years on! Need to take the grill off and realign it after knocking it tonight, but it still looks fantastic imo.

Looks pretty classy to me. Minimalist and not over stated at all.

Also why is your iphone face down on the floor?

lol in which case (pun not intended) you're left with zalman (HIDEOUSLY expensive) or lian-li (which may fall into the too plain category) and that's about it for nice cases

Im with you Tom, the Coolermaster ATC-201 is still one of THE most stylish cases ever built.

bit expensive like! have ever thought about buying a cheap one then modding it so it looks classy?

This is the best case Ive ever used. Got it from a good friend, months before they arrive on the scene. Cost me £190 and worth every penny. Build quality and finish was superb!

If I was to build a desktop again, this would be my case of choice.

I always really liked the Coolermaster 210s. The one with the dark door was my favourite, but alas they were too much for me at the time

Take the door off and those side pillar things for the door and you have a very good looking case!

can the 201 still hold its own when it comes to space even today with these large graphics cards ?
