Waiting for a delivery

I'll have to have a little rant on this one :D

Don't you just hate waiting for a delivery :( I've got two itmes supposedly being deliverd today, one is with Citylink and one with Parcelforce. The citylink one shows arrived at delivery branch at 2.10am then nothing else :eek::eek: The Parcelforce one shows sorted in national hub at 1.10am and that's it :eek::eek:

I'll wait in all day for them then to turn up then the minute I pop out they're waiting around the corner to stick the "we called but you were out" card through the letterbox
 
Its even worse when they say we will deliver between 7 and 6. 11 hours, only to find that the driver didnt leave the depot till 8.30 and deosnt turn up till half past 6 . . . . .
 
I just got a package from Royal Mail Special Delivery. I knew it was gonna turn up here at the office at 8:30 with the rest of the post as usual.

/smug mode :D

Ah yes, I've done that with a Saturday delivery, got up a 7am with a banging hangover only for the delivery driver to turn up at 12.00 all bright and cherpy :p
 
Just had a look and the citylink one shows loaded on to a van for delivey at 11.45 :):)

atleast one is on it's way, come on Parcelforce ;)

i had that with a washing machine, which then didn't work! not a happy bunny :mad: works now though!
 
City Link dont have any record of my order :( it says its complete on my overclockers account but havent received anything...dang
 
My last 2 deliveries from City Link have been bad, one I had a day off, waited in all day and the guy turned up at 6:05pm just as I was going out. I was expecting a delivery on Wednesday, tracking showed it was on the delivery van at 8am, waited all afternoon and nothing, it was returned to the delivery branch at 8:20pm, the driver ran out of time I guess, seems like they are very over worked round here recently.
