Just cannot get to 4Ghz stable,
Busy fiddling about atm managed to get booting into windows at everything upto 4.07Ghz or similar but BSOD/Freezes.

MAx temp so far has been around 56deg

fsb 425
V Bios: 1.3 cpuz 1.28
IBT Fine
Temp 100% load 54

fsb 430
V Bios 1.3 cpuz 1.304
IBT Fine
Temp 100% 58

now I've had a dig about in other threads and Im just wondering if thres any more up to date info re clocking this setup.

Are there any newer Bioses I should be using?
Should my FSB:DRAM read as 1:1 in cpuz?

Im currently running IBT with 3 runs to get a quick look at the residuals and check they are the same. Maanged to get to 3.98Ghz but the linpack residuals were all over the place :(

Currently trying 450*8 1.256v cpuz, temps on both cores look fine and stable at around 50deg atm, cpu doesnt seem to like 450*9 much, random rebbots, sometimes fails to boot into windows.

This is what I have stable atm,

3920Mhz
8x 490
RAM 1:1
1.35 Bios 1.328Cpuz
Max temp appears to be 64 @ 100% load

IBT running fine all residuals the same.

how higher vcore you tried running from the 1.35 to achieve 4ghz?
sometimes it can take quite a bit, but shouldnt be such a problem. 45nm can't take as much voltage as the older 65nm technology, but you can push up to 1.4v, i wouldn't go higher.

have you played around with NB, cpu vtt, cpu pll?

up nb too 1.425, what your default on vtt and pll? upping pll 0.025v and vtt to like 1.4 or just over for vtt(termination voltage)

Now running stable at 500FSB

FSB 500
Multi 8
Vcore 1.375v
PLL 1.54v
RAM 2.2v
FSB Term 1.22
NB 1.2

tis busy runnin orthos but linpack residuals were fine, linpack tops it out at around 68deg but Orthos hangs around 50-53.
RAM timings are all at stock and booting fine.

Looks like I may have hit the limit at the moment 510 Mhz boots fine but linpack resids dont match and temps hit 70

Is there anyway to get a text file of my bios settings without typing them all up manually?
