Oh no, I've done it again. Run for the hills!
Nah in all seriousness, some good comments were raised in the middle of the fanboy ramblings. Specifically how 'subjective' my comments were. This is a very fair point, so I've quickly unpacked the 4870 and took some quick screenshots & videos. Unfortunately I couldn't get a screenshot from Crysis on my Vista machine, only XP running the 6600GT
First up, the Mass Effect issue I noticed:

1920x1200, 4x AA, 16xAF, High Quality Transparency AA. Click to enlarge.
Stalker Clear Sky:

ATI left, NV right. Enhanced dynamic lighting, high detail preset. Unplayable on both, but still a curiosity I found.
Now for the distracting pattern / moire / unsharp mask like issue. Its only visible in motion so here's a dodgy video I made:
NV HL2 In Motion
ATI HL2 In Motion
Settings were the same as in Mass Effect, 1920x1200, 4x AA, 16xAF, High Quality Transparency AA.
I'm afraid that's all I've got, I really don't want to spend ages cataloging every single difference. Suffice it to say I didn't encounter any visual anomolies with the NV card, but at the same time ATI's IQ on occasion was superior - albeit subtly.
