Is that black connector on the photo an s-video-out connector?

i'd go for a fanless ati/nvidia card if you want one for a media pc

Do not buy it.

The photo is a Palit card but you get a XFX one.

I had to return one for a customer as its as loud as a blender and the fan cannot be controlled.

You can Google same as I did for "XFX 8600GT+loud fan", you will get many results.
