I just got a DGM L-2442WD monitor, elsewhere unfortunately. When I view it straight on, the top is dark and the bottom light, if I stand up, it's uniform. I've asked to RMA it but am now concerned about buying another LCD. Any thoughts?
How do I add a picture? Then you could all see just how bad it is.....

Hopefully this will work....

Can you not right click the Screen n go Properties n choose BLACK as your background..Then post a picy.Or is that Black n you got Green Lights On..:)

i think you have a TN there as the screen looks glossy ,hence why the picture goes darker as you move your head about from center ,there is a big thread on this problem in another thread i think the better ones where PVA non glossy screens

that might be because he hasn't taken off the the glossy plastic cover yet, for fear of a return.

I did take the plastic cover off, just left the tape on around the sides.
I made the screen green to show up the problem, blue works well too.
White looks kinda grey at the top.
I went to a local shop and saw the iiyama prolite 2607wsv, and it suffers exactly the same problem!
I'll have to try and find the other thread that mentions this problem.
This leaves me wondering what monitor to go for....
