I dont post on here often, but when I do its normally to do with a pc upgrades to ask for advice from the guru's. I always get good advice etc etc...

After building a quad core setup for a friend not so long ago, I was blown away by the performance and decided I had to have something similar. Now this rig is getting old, but still performs well. My general consensus is to double the performance of the old one before I upgrade. So I have decidied that this is going to be the rig...

the rres is obviously clear so the liquid will be seen... the black tubing was the only one i could find at that size.... i sourced some clear :D

Wont be putting it in for awhile yet, modding the case and a few things first before i get to play :D
 
I need a "this thread is useless without pictures" smiley lol ;)

Get it up and runningmate and join the elite i7 club, they run hot when clocked to make sure your fully bleed the radiator before clocking.

But 4Ghz on that set up shoudl be easy mate @ 1.375 - 1.4V but expect temps to be around fully 70°c loaded with HT on at 1.4v @ 4Ghz

oopsy... the res holds 1050ml of water... plus pipes.... plus twin rad.... now i only have 1 litre of liquid.... pah :( gonna have to wait to get it going... or will that be enough?
