What Were You Doing At Ten Years Old?.

people said that colin mcrae had a natural talent, and that he was destined to go into rallying like his dad. It was in the blood, in much the same way alistar had the gift too.

Mcrae was winning junior motocross championships left right and centre at this age.

Why am i mentionning this ? because that kid has obviously got a natural talent. i'd be very supprised if he doesnt make WSB or moto GP.

Looks like a bit of a PR stunt for the kid, but fair play. Most of the guys there are tootling round but you can tell he's comfortable giving it some either way.

When I was 10, I was dreaming about having the opportunity to race competitively. I hope one day I'll get the chance in some form or another.

Look at last years result for the 125cc at Donnington Park, winner was Scott Redding, 15 yrs old, Marc Marquez in 3rd place was only 15yrs old.

Granted Stoner only looks about 12 or 13 and Danni Pedrobot looks just as young(and even more miserable)

Start em young and in the right place and they should do well, hence the reason Bradley Smith moved out to Spain to learn and race there.

Danni Who?

Bradley and Scott are two to watch in future for sure, both have natural talent. Rossi had it too his dad raced, imagine if Rossi had kids ;)

But I have to agree with Dup here, looks like a stunt, he is riding a "slower" but more nimble bike than the others which enables him to rid a little faster around the corners, but he certainly has talent there.

A guy I know was like that as a kid, winning motocross races left right and centre and leaving very experienced riders in his dust. He's in the British Superbikes now racing for TAS Suzuki. It's a mixture of bags of natural talent and a lack of fear.

That must be Ian Lowry?

Unless you somehow know Atsushi Watanabe:p.

Why does his bike move so fast while other riders just trundle along and the guy filming lets him get really far in front, is it an illusion to make the kid look like he is going 200 mph, maybe it was a warm up lap or a lap to let the kid get some experience. Its a pretty slow track day.

Hugely impressive, will be interesting to see him in a few years against other riders the same age, just to see how much of that pace is due to his size and weight.
