What can this mobo support?

I have this motherboard and a AMD Athlon X2 64 5400

Can i have this CPU

The website says i can have a AMD + but...

(Note) If you install AMD AM2+ CPU on AM2 motherbord, the system bus speed will downgrade from HT3.0(5200MHz) to HT1.0(2000 MT/s) spec; however, the frequency of AM2+ CPU will not be impacted.

How much performance will i loose ?

Or is there an update i can have to support this?

The "CPU Support List" link on the Gigabyte page is more useful, it tells you which BIOS version supports which CPU - you can have the CPU you linked with BIOS version 5, if I'm reading it right.
