i7 ram final decision

What ram to get out of (looking to overclock i7 920 to around 3.5ghz or as close as possible):

Ocz Blade 16000 (9-9-9-30) £103.99

Gskill 10666 (9-9-9-24) £42.99

Corsair xms3 dominator 12800 (8-8-8-24) £94.44

??

I'm keen to see this one answered as well - got basically the same choice to make, and at the mo leaning towards the OCZ Blade, but simply because of the faster speed rating.

A lot of mobos and chips will have trouble running 2000mhz stuff (I know mine does) so the best compromise of speed and timings is 1600mhz.

How about Corsair xms 3 dominator 1600mhz? Think i'd trust corsair more so than ocz.

...for double the price? It's your money mate but to me that seems like a ridiculous amount of money for RAM that runs at the same speed.

So 1600MHz seems to be the sweet spot at the moment, there's some good deals around for that stuff too, good news, makes that i7 just a bit closer!

I have a hard time running my OCZ Platinum 1600mhz @ the rated speed. Due to my OC, I'm actually only running it at about 1500mhz. It's rated 1066 in bios for tighter timings then OC'd to 1500mhz. I'm only off by 100mhz's so I can't complain really.

Cheap ram and a cheap P6T-SE will easily get above 3.5GHz. I had mine running at 3.8 with just a minor bump in CP volts;
