Got a question for anyone out there that can help.

My Setup :

XBOX 360 (Latest Updates)- Connected Via Wireless With a Linksys Router (with Tomato Firmware in a Wireless Client Mode) to a Netgear DG834GT Router.

PC1 (Running Windows 7RC) - Connected Via Wireless with a Netgear 108Mbps G Card to the Netgear DG834GT Router

Laptop1 (Running Windows Vista SP2) - Connected Via Wireless with a built in intel Wireless card 54G to the Netgear DG834GT Router

I have good wireless signals on all the connected devices and can download from the net with good speeds etc.

For the 1st time ive tried using the Media Centre Feature on the Xbox 360 but it would hang on Searching For Extender (despite being able to see it via TVersity Fine) Screen Below : (this happens on both the Vista and Windows7 Devices)

TVersity can be seen from the xbox360 by going through the Video Library option on the xbox360 either on the laptop of PC it doesnt matter. But the streaming seems to take an age, for example it took about 20 mins to get to 10% and obviosuly nothing plays.

Basicaly to cut a long story short, what can i do to get this thing working with Windows Media Centre or Working one hell of a lot quicker with Tversity.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i have spent the best part of 3 hours tearing my hair out tonight LOL.

Can i also just add, i can stream from my main PC to my laptop with no problems with the usual method via folder sharing, so im pretty convinced its not a signal strength or speed issue (ive also connected my laptop to the linksys router which is in the client mode) and stream again from the main PC and works a treat.

Confused

Use a proper program to share media, Start up WMP and in options/library configure sharing, enable your 360

Then go to control panel and network + sharing and enable everything you need and disable password protected sharing,

Another hint, Don't use media centre on your 360, just go to my xbox and scroll right to music/video etc

Okay im now just using Media Player and the Music streams along fine to the 360 but the videos still seem to be doing next to nothing, and the network bandwith usage according to windows is not even 0.5% useage max.

Might want to check your firewall, the relevant ports on your router and try if you can testing the device with it plugged directly into a router. Does your bandwidth go up to near max when listening to music? It should burst through quickly so if you can try to create some big wav files which might give you a better idea of whether the problem lies with your set up or your wireless connection.

The Video's are showing when i go to the video Library and i can then click to play them, it then says opening at the top with a black background. and then after a short period of time it will change to loading and then nothing happens.
