I need to buy an AGP card for a customer, now i know these are few and far between these days and the price can be abit pricey!

Basically they are running games like Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Counter strike etc.

They want a graphics card as there 6800GT has gone kaput, I said if they want to be running games they are going to need something that is going to take it but obviously they dont want to break the bank.

Can anyone reccomend me a decent all rounder AGP card which is not going to break the bank?

Ta

DJMK4 :)

Oh I give in, you can buy my Geforce DDR, and it has 32 MB SGRAM DDR, and HDTV playback and recording. It embarrasses cpu performance with 500,000,000 pixels per second. 2048x1536 max resolution

(Sarcastic post but the info is accurate from the retail box)

OK following on from this (Thanks for the info so far u lot :) ) I have found out they have a budget of around £35-£40.

Do you know what I could get for this thats good enough to keep them ticking over.

a quick search through ebay and i see that AGP still commands a premium even for older cards, its pretty amazing seeing people pay £60 for 7600gt used...

x8xx series can be found for about £20 from what i see.

x1950 seems to be over £50 for a used one...

7800 256mb...

maybe a HD3650 with GDDR3?

Edit: Removed auction link
