A rather special day in Wales with a lot of front liners out to play in the sun. Here is my take....

very nice indeed what part of wales do they train in? pic 1 and 2 are my fav..but all well shot

They're all cracking shots, but 2 is my fav, theres just something about it, i think its the fact there is less background and more plane

Thanks everyone for the comments!

Pic 2 is great, n1.

Do you have links to high-res versions? They would make great wallpapers ;)

4:3 or 16:9 ?

That's interesting. My usual output from low level is tightly framed / cropped planes but this time I went for wider shots to get some variation.

16:9 would be preferable :D

Pic 2 is also the best imo. The fact that the Harrier is quite mucky looking adds to the feel of it, almost as if it were an actual operational sortie, bombing some naughty fellows or something.

quite like 4 and 7, 7 for the interaction between the two planes on the same shot and 4 for the fact you should NOT be looking directly at a plane in flight!

4 is my fav of the lot. I can just imagine myself in the countryside looking at some sheep in a valley and then out of nowhere seeing that coming towards you.

Can I have it in higher res please for use as a wallpaper? :D 16:9 would be great. Thanks!

FirebarUK / Mark1, give me an e-mail please > photos "at" fast-air.co.uk

First time I went I was trying to work out if I was in the right place when a Hawk flew straight over my head.

"Yup, right place!" :D

Those are absolutely awesome.

In fact, they are so good I'm nicking them and posting on another forum I frequent. ;)

LOL!

Also, just occurred to me : Where the hell were you sat to get those pictures?. Dangling on the end of a rope out of a helicopter or something??!!!. :p

Draeger, you will need to e-mail me. You can't see other people's e-mail in Trust anymore.

Sometimes it's a bit of clever photography but most of the time it's standing on the edge of a hill side.......

Did I mention I'm scared of heights? :D

Roger that, will email you with my info, ta.

That pic you posted looking over the cliff edge - looks familiar. Is there somewhere near there that climbers use?. I'm sure I recognise that shot looking down to the road from a climbing magazine somewhere?.

Great photo's as usual! What is the plane in number 1 and 5, some sort of Lear Jet? Not something I would expect to see be pulling tight low-level turns?!
