im in hte market for a new card and i was getting this one

OcUK Value GeForce GTX 275 896MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=GX-116-OK

if i was to up the anti to this card would i see any difference apart from the £124 extra and if it worth it how future proof is it as not looking to replace for a while allso will this fit into a Antec Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case asus p5q pro and my power supply is a Corsair HX 620W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-620HXUK)

One of the greatest offers so far! Anyone who has this card (asus) could please reply if he has experience the famous coil noise?

I have a gtx 280 with the p5q deluxe mobo. It does fit but practically touches the southbridge cooler and the vertical sata ports. I am not sure about your case. What is your current card?

Will two of these run on a 850 watt PSU (OCZ-Gamestream). I already have GTX8800 in SLI, and run fine, but heard/read these GPU's run at lower wattage than the GTX 280's? (183 watts for these, versus 235 watts for the 280's,)
Not sure the wattage of a GTX8800 is by comparison....

Cheers

Yeh it should run with ease.

Should I get this or save £65 and get the Asus Hd 4890? The reason I ask is my last experience with Ati drivers were a bit rubbish.

my 285 has very quiet squeal (didn't realize it till my side was off one day) during loads only, not anything to throw a fit about.

I notice it in game menu screens, a slight squeal, not in game or any other app. No big deal, in fact pretty sure my 4850 did it on menu screens too.:)

I would go for the gtx, if I could afford it; I think. Does your mobo support sli or crossfire? Might help the decision?
One thing I have noticed is with overclocking on my 4850 and 285, where as the ATI drivers would crash the whole system needing a restart due to too high an overclock, the Nvidia drivers seem a lot better at recovery and only crash the game/benchmark. Small point I know.

Neither. Its a p5K. So when are Nvidia releasing new cards then? I need to play the sims and cod badly.

Even though this is a fantastic price for the card, when you can get a overclocked (out of the box) GTX core 216 for £90 less it does make it a hard card to reccommend.
