hey guys having problems with my 9800gx2 i am getting 3 beeps when i switch it on. the fans spin fast and dont slow down and no display ?

3 beeps means video/memory failure, i point the finger at your 9800gx2 maybe overheating problem, if still in warranty, RMA it
 
questions..........
1. is your powersupply big enough, it could be lack of power
2. is all the connecters connected
3. is the card seated properly

it would be helpfull if you inc some specs of your PC, inc the powersupply.

and if you have another PC try it in that.

hi m8 tried all that still no joy.

dfi bloodiron p35 t2rl
E8400 @4.05ghz
ocz reaper 3gb
9800gx2
hyper 630w
realtek HD sound
 
Sounds dead :(

When did it start acting like this? Did you do anything prior to that or did it just suddenly decide to throw a fit?

Have you tried the usual reset cmos, test in different PCI-E/PC?
