I'm trying to design a solid state tesla coil, similar to:
http://www.richieburnett.co.uk/hfsstc.html
There's some good theory here:
http://home.wtal.de/herbs_teslapage/theory.html
But it's not quite the same as I want to be operating in the low Mhz region.
The problem I have is, how do you calculate the resonance of the secondary due to the mutual inductance caused by the primary? What I'm trying to do is optimise the primary so that it has the same resonance as the secondary, but changing one affects the other.....
Any ideas?
