New toy

Hi All,

Well after a lot of research, the Ducati idea wasn't making any sense. I simply couldn't afford to run one in the way which I use my vehicles. I also wanted to do a Euro trip next year and I would hate to put the miles on the duke.

So I present the (more sensible) replacement!

Nice, really liking that. Congrats on the new ride.

Heart would have ruled my head and went for the 749 but then that's just me and I only really use my Mille now as a weekend toy since I've started cycling to work and caught the cycling bug.

Best colour too.

*EDIT* I think I might recognise where those pics were taken, don't tell me outright but give me a clue?.

I thought 636's made something like 110bhp?

*edit* 116bhp and 48ft lbs.

I've read its 116bhp at the wheel, so more at the flywheel. Kawasaki site says 136PS for the 2006 model.

Nice Im jelous, Shame this week end has been pants for the weather, I was goign to fit the new Braided lines to mines but couldnt be bothered with the wet.

hah, me too! Got a MTB earlier in the year, which I use for work and the odd sunday blast, but now really into road bikes but no money for a decent new one after blowing it all on the MTB :/ so riding an old late 80's Vitus and doing about 100 miles a week.

Its a real dilemma when the weathers nice though - havent been out on the motorbike for ages and its looking at me all angry in the garage!
