Hi everyone,

My manager has asked me to look into what would be the best PC in a £2000 budget for creative designers.

I need the best pc to be able to run editing software for movies, images, needs to laugh at the face of indesign and run super smooth.

All suggestions welcome.

Thanks in advance.

I'll probably get flamed, but the new 27" iMac comes in at a tad under £2k I think. I don't have one, but a friend has just got one and it looks quite nice.

Pretty much this, use SSD as boot drive and run the 2 WDs in RAID1

if your not going to oc you might as well use the stock cooler. same thing with the motherboard. just get cheaper gigabyte motherboard

Don't see the point of crossfiring graphics cards for design work, there's no benefit.

I7 with as much RAM as you can fit, SSD boot drive and a big Scratch drive. Then spend what you have left over on a *good* 400+ Screen. Peripherals are important too, if they freehand then a tablet is important.
