I'm really tempted to upgrade from my AM2+ board to an AM3 board and these boards are tempting me, not as highly priced as I expected also which is a plus

I really want to upgrade my M3A32 but the cost of replacing the DDR2 sort of puts me off...
Will wait and see how people find the boards first and then throw my money at it.

Same here tbh - these boards are really tempting me, but running a 955BE on an M4A78-Pro, and the DDR3 prices are putting me off.

If these boards turn out to be gems, and early indications are looking good, then I might be persuaded.

I just really need to get off of SB600... It really is awful.

that gigabyte one looks the best of the 3 here.

it has been "previewed" on hardOCP, showing really good results for raid0. they had 4x 1tb hdds in raid0 reaching 450mb/s, apparently better value than getting ssds when considering all of volume, price and speed in such a configuration.

According to this Link only Asus motherboards support unlocking via a swith on the motherboard.

I read through that also and a few others on xtremesystems, and reading through that thread it suggests that guy is abit of wind-up merchant.

On another note it suggests that perhaps an unlocking facility is there on other boards but software based or named something else irrc.
