I think my friend stole my webcam...

Not really a friend if he steals off you. Why not just ask him? Can't really see the point of the thread.
 
If I were you I'd ask him straight out, and if he did steal it say that you're disappointed. But then give him the disc, tell him not to do it again but as it was just once you'll accept his apology/forgive him and not hold it against him.

I could send you one of a couple of webcams if you want, I've a collection because I keep losing them only to find them later on.

Or it could be a huge coincidence and his friends hasn't taken it but will surely take offence at being accused of stealing

Yeah but I mean ask, if he hasn't stolen it then whatever, but if he has then don't take it badly. People make mistakes like that. And give him another chance either way, if he says he didn't trust him, if he says he does above.

I'm in a good mood.

Yeah that's the problem what if he hasn't stolen it. I think he has though but I'm not asking him straight out I need to catch him out on it because he'll just lie. I don't need to worry about a friend stealing from me, if I find out he has he aint my friend no more. I just wanna know if anyone been in a similar situation and has any trick questions to catch him out. I might ask him if it's a round type or rectangle type webcam and then offer the driver but then say which one, then he'll have already said rectangle type. I bought the webcam from ocuk in 2008 it's the top model and I really need it because my gf lives 260 miles away and we chat on them.

No seriously I don't care it'll only cost me like a quid or so. I'll send it tomorrow. Hopefully it'll work on your/her computer - it's fairly old. I'll see if I can get it working now and then update you on how that goes. But it's yours if you want it.
 
What spec is the computer that it's going on?

I've 7 x64 and it won't install, but running in compatability of XP sp3 seems to work except that it will only work on a 32bit system?
 
just make sure you get all the facts right first.

But if you find out he did then thats bad tell him your so called friendship is over full stop.

ive stayed at a very good friend of mine and it would never cross my mind to even think of stealing off him ever.

damn i even asked if i could make my self a bleeding tea,breakfast as i would never even help myself to that let alone any of his belongings.

Oh thanks man if he has stole it you have been more of friend to me in an hour than he has a year lol.

I use x32 bit 7 i have to do the same thing for cubase to work

Haha hope not like - hope it works out with him.

I'm downloading the 64 bit drivers for Vista but I'm sure if they work the 32 bit ones will work anyway.

Yeah I hope he didn't but I never lose anything my room is spotless. I thought I was going crazy when it went missing. It will be over full stop because he doesn't respect me now so why would he if I forgave him. I would forgive if he was my other friend of 12 years but then he would never steal from me.

Yeah I aways ask to make tea, he just walks down into the kitchen and comes back with a coffee, he's like a real life ace ventura the way he acts sometimes, he even flirted with my mam!
 
Right email me your details and I'll get it out to you tomorrow. The model number is V-UAM14A and I can't get it working because of the 64x but try the drivers on disc and that 32 bit might be better. If not I'm sure you'll find a use for it.

Yeah I'll let you know tomorrow, I told him I lost my webcam before too and he didn't say anything...
