Terrible memory. I had to RMA mine 3 times. A total joke, seriously the worst PC componant i've ever paid for. Also had to pay for delivery back to OCZ ( Netherlands ), which cost me a small fortune.

Never again.

In my opinion OcUK should do everyone a favour and stop selling this. People will just buy other memory anyway so can't see how they will lose out - customers will be happier.

3 RMAs... Three! Out of 12 sticks.. 7 worked.
If you're buying 3....

Fancy your chances?

I has similar problems last year when I built my system. 2 lots were faulty.
Ended up getting the Patriot ram.

Glad im not the only one that has problems with OCZ ram.
My DDR3 Reapers were exactly the same. Problems galore with them!

Ive got the 1333 version of this and it runns at 1600 speeds its been great bought to lots at the same time great stuff!

was thinking of buying more 1600 stuff to clock higher but now not so sure......

im flogging a dead horse here , but stay clear of this ram , its not good from ocz unless its platinum or obsidian.... get a set of Geil Black Dragons or Corairs or something. But avoid these like the plague, unless your brand loyal and dont mind ocz's rma process

I have 3 sticks of this ram and used to have problems getting it to run at its rated speed. I swopped the order of the sticks around and it's been running at its rated speed ever since.:)

No idea why though.:o

You sir, should register with their forums. They'll send a courier to you on request.

I had a set of ocz refuse to run at rated spec with an Asus G35 board, it ran 100MHz over on a better P45 system.

I think this is excellent value, and would be pleased to buy a set were there any space left in my motherboard. Not got a bad word to say about OCZ.

Always liked ocz ram, i bought reaper ddr2 pc 6400 and 8500, still use reapers on my i7, dont like corsair. (too many failures), as for crucial, i had so many kits from them fail theyre phone number was on my bt friends and family discount scheme, as for ocz, my ddr2 reaper pc8500 kit was rated at 5-5-5-18, done 5-5-5-14 on stock volts, not much i know but it was solid and reliable, i wouldnt buy any other ram than ocz theese days.

According to nutters uk, out of every 100 people OCZ Ram products buy, about 58 will get working ram, the other 42 will have a total disaster. I hear they Oc well, I'm frightened to even push mine :/

Mind, the Reaper stuff is said to be good :)

Nopeee
Both sets I had of the Reapers had address errors, and one of the sticks died leaving me with 4GB!
2 Kits I had to RMA.
Now onto Corsair Dominators and no such problems ;)

Oh balls i wish i had seen this thread earlier i went ahead and bought these a couple of days ago. Just finished the build and i've been having the dreaded blue screens of death ever since and after reading this and checking some other forums i'm pretty sure it's the ram :|

Also have these and also have the issues.

Only got a C0 920 and trying to get that above 3.6GHz is a nightmare/impossible with this RAM.

Had it at 4.01GHz (191x21) with 1528MHz RAM (8-8-8-24-2T timings and 1.66V) and it was stable for 3.5hours on prime, but then crashed randomly during general Interweb browsing.
Had plenty of volts running through everything else, temps were fine also, so I can only surmise that it's the RAM being flaky. :(

Don't get BSODs though, just get the system going breasts-up on me; keyboard/mouse lose power, display goes completely and normally sounds will bugger up (sounds like someone's scratching a record over and over).
Lack of BSOD means lack of BSOD code means lack of diagnosis.
If anyone has had similar and fixed it, email in Trust!

Hmmm, only thing I can say is a 20run LinX test on max RAM should route out any stability problems, 3.5h is not really that much for Prime.

My first set of PC3-15000 OCZ Plats was rubbish, would only go to 1333Mhz. The replacement runs at rated speeds, so quality control issues I would assume at OCZ.
