Unfortunatley, no touring cars were out today :(

So here's the support cars :)

Very nice, I was there bang on 9am hoping the touring cars would have the first session!

You've done a good job with the light, I really struggled.

Edit: What body/lens combo do you use?

Quite a few random objects in the background? Watch to keep that sort of thing out of shot!!

3 - Nice, sharp, good tight crop, well exposed, good background. Spot on PP.

6 - Good racing, good motion, perhaps crop tighter however?

9 - Clean Backround, like the suspension compression.

A few seem a bit overexposed. Some of the highlights are pushed a bit too far in others.

But this is being very critical.... ;)

30D + 70-200L

Thanks for the comments p0ss. Croft is a really tricky track to work with cos you are very limited by where and what you can shoot. There's only certain places that look good but the photos look boring when you do the same stuff all the time.. hence the need for some experimentation!!
 
Love the last one :)

I did a weekend at Rockingham last year, was great fun. Pick a good corner and watch the Clio's destroy each other :D :p

I completely failed at the single seaters though :( The the single seaters I did get just didn't look as impressive as the tin tops for some reason :confused:
 
I for some reason have an urge on number 5 to totally desaturate but leave the lead car in colour? Just seems to me like that effect would work :/

Cannot wait for my zoom lens to arrive this week! Going to get straight to events such as this!

Took that at Oulton Park years ago, everything expect the red stripes have been desaturated (The rest of the car was black anyways)

It can look brilliant, but the colours have to be strong and vibrant and the focus pin sharp to work properly IMO :)
