Although the conclusion makes a large issue of the fact that many of the 'requirements' of the ruling are no longer relevant as Intel has already changed habits I thing the fact that the FTC saw this through is a victory in itself. Intel only cleaned up its act because the suit was on them. Now that there is precedent, it will be easier to get them to comply with future complaints as they know they can't simply stall through the courts until the issue goes away.
