God or no God

I read a good segment from an article the other day, something like, "The scientists spend so much time looking for extraterrestrial beings yet they discard God as such". I have to say if it were not for the Bible then we would be truly lost, i am pleased and a bit surprised that Tony Blair said that the Koran is just a "remix", if you like, of the Bible, which is very true. In my opinion the Bible marks the X to the spot to the hidden treasure. Glory! as Dave would say.

To be fair though you'll also see that the Bible has been responsible for it's fair share of violence and bloodshed not to mention holding back the scientific advances throughout the history.
