Samsung P2450H 24" Widescreen Monitor

Hi,

Will the Samsung P2450H 24" Widescreen Monitor be available from OcUK again?

I was looking at this monitor a few weeks back, but see it's no longer listed?

I think the P2450H is now EOL and has been replaced by the B2430H. I know the P2450H has a quite unique look that no other Samsung monitor series really has, so I hope I'm wrong about this - it is going out of stock all over the place and doesn't seem to be being restocked.

Looks like I was lucky when I got mine a couple of weeks ago. I prefer the more "angular" look of the P2450, although the reflective inner-bezel is a slight design error IMHO. The P2450 also has a faster 2ms response time, although I`m sure that PCM2 will point out that the faster response time is only a statistic.

Nice monitor though, especially now I`ve got used to the panoramic view !

Sorry but can you explain what you mean, especially the bit about the panoramic view?

I think he is referring to the 16:9 vs. 16:10 he may have been using previously? It does make them look pretty wide. I could be off track here though.

You are close. My old monitor was 4:3 !

Took a few days to get used to this one (very wide, and rather large viewing area), but I am extremely pleased with it now. It`s always the same when you get a new TV or monitor, it takes a while to get used to.
