id do it.

the only real risk is it getting struck by lightning while your up there but i assume they have good weather people

The person that originally posted it on his blog wanted it deleting because it may get the person doing the vid in trouble.

Thread got merged into the YouTube thread though, but then the video got removed off there anyway so it doesn't really matter.

Edit: Why would the guy get in trouble? Is it the fact that he took a video recorder up there with him on his helmet? It says in the video that most of them climb that way, so I don't see why the video is apparently showing a lack of concern for safety.

That looks pretty unsafe, especially when he gets to the top and climbs onto the little ledge. Rain and wind and storms can't be much fun.

I highly doubt it would be a daily trip and only a trip for any work that needed doing.

Well, if you were clipped on and fell, you would probably stay attached to the mast and may bang your head as you fall and swing around the pole.

Its not like its easy to help someone up there so its probably best they remain conscious
