That's true, but growing up and knowing you can never meet your real biological parents, who died when you were newly born, will suck none the less.

I agree with that. As fellow adults/children we deffo empathise the situation, but the baby herself will probably be ok, particularly if she gets herself a good family looking to adopt.
 
How incredibly sad :(

But like mentioned she is young so will grow up with it. And at least she lost her parents by accident and not because she was no wanted etc. Some solace I guess.
 
the parents being so overjoyed is the thing i find hardest to get my head around. a whole new chapter in their life had just opened :(
