Hey guys, really need your wisdom here.
I've recently got my new system running (in my signature) and every now and then I get blue screens and the system dies.
It's when I'm running a game, it's done it in HAWX directX10, Call of Juarez DirectX10, Left 4 Dead 2 etc- the screen flickers or distorts, or just locks up and I get:
STOP 0x00000116 (0x8784C510, 0x89B398B0, 0x00000000, 0x00000002)
atikmpag.sys address 89B398B0 base at 89B34000
Datestamp 4c75c164
I don't know what any of this means but i know the atikmpag.sys is of importance, it's something to do with drivers for my ATI XFX HD4870x2
i searched atikmpag in my computer and it came up with a driver related file 'atikmpag.sy_' i was wondering if the fact that it says '.sy_' and not '.sys' has anything to do with it.
If you can shed any light, it would be brilliant!
Thanks so much, Ben
