Unlocking an Iphone 3GS clone?

Hi Peeps.

I bought one of these cheap,basically its an iphone replica that looks and works exactly the same as a original iphone 3gs.

Here are the 2 phones here they are very similar

My question is it possible to unlock this phone/allow me to use my pay as you go sim card on it,its a 64gb iphone clone that is dual simcard on bootup.

I have found plenty of programs to do this for an original Iphone,is it the same for a replica?

Any advice would be great as im a complete nOOb when it comes to phones.

Have you tried a pay as you go simcard in it? Since its a fake, i imagine there is no lock on the type of simcard you can use.

It doesn't work exactly the same at all though, does it?

It's not even remotely the same, it's a fake. It's a completely different operating system. If it's dual sim as well then the hardware isn't even similar - it's just in the same shaped box.

I inserted my "3" sim and it says insert sim as soon as i turn it on.

Actually i just tried my wifes pay as you go and it works fine,just wondering wether i can use jailbreak program on there?Hmmm

The hardware and certainly the software is totally different so no, you can't jailbreak it.

It's not an iPhone, it's not even an 'iphone clone'. It's a crap, cheap generic Chinese cellphone that has a case that looks like an iphone.

You cannot 'jailbreak' it, you cannot use software designed for the iPhone on it, it doesn't 'work exactly the same as a original iphone 3gs' at all.
