Thinking about upgrading from a GTX460 to GTX570 but I'm a little bit concerned about what the noise levels will be like, can anyone give me an idea of what it will be like @ loud?

My current 460 is practically inaudible against my case fans etc.

no one can really tell you as everyone has different tolerance levels to what they regard as quiet

a lot of people said the the 470 was quiet if you kept the fan below 65% but it was not
a lot of people said the Twin Frozr II cards from MSI was quiet but its not


i have a 570 and its fairly quiet
not silent but not annoying either but thats just me

best thing is to just buy it and see for yourself then DSR it if its too loud

but its a huge improvement over the 470/480 series tho

Well Anand pegged the 570 at only a decibel or two above the 5850 and, when I had a 5850 it was exceedingly quiet even under load so that bodes well.
