It was very difficult getting the 460 to go in the slot anyway, i've got a small motherboard and it's probably about half an inch from the Gelid Tranquillo. Don't know how i can get the 460 out to get the screw out. The graphics card clips into place doesn't it? I can't get to the clip. :/

Can't even get my forceps down to the screw.

Hold the computer case by the sides, rotate your arms, watch as the screw now fails out of where its stuck, and return the case to the up-right position.

now find the screw.

Don't worry with it being an Nvidia card as soon as the CPU is under load it will melt

if you can see the screw then surely it's easier to magnetise (if you don't have a magnetic one) a screwdriver and just fish it out...?

Ok that made me LOL :D Thanks for that ;)

To the OP , the careful pick up the PC and give it a shake technique already suggested is the 1st port of call.
Although 9 times out of 10 those missing screws tend to find the one place in the case they will just slide around in rather than fall out.

I have in the past known screws to get jammed behind the motherboard , so definatly

Also please dont turn machine on untill the screw is out..

If you can't remove the displaycard too try to find it , an alternative might be to remove the motherboard screws completly and take the whole assembley out of the case in one go, Thats assuming that you can get to the screws and that the case isnt blocking the components from coming out.

Depends on the size of your case

Also as EniGmA1981 suggested a magnetic screwdriver or other such tool can be handy if you spot it at the bottom corner of the case, somewhere you just can't get a finger.
Theres rarely enough Gauss (magnetic strength) in those too effect PC components , although I wouldn't go leaving one lay ontop of a HDD ;)
