Firstly, this is my first post on this forum, I have been reading for a while.

Now, to the main point - I have about £300 for upgrading my computer, only really need a Processor-Motherboard-RAM mix. The build can go over £300, but not by more than £50.

I'm looking at:
Intel i5 Lynnfield 2.8 GHZ
Asus P7H55-M Intel H55 (Socket 1156)
Some ATI Radeon 5770
And Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB)

Okay, fire away!

What Aiir said, only I'd replace the motherboard with a P7H55-M, and drop the SSD in favour of spending the money on a graphics card.

Get dual channel RAM- triple channel is for s1366 boards.

Okay, thanks for the fast response!

I don't need a new HDD - I have a 500GB drive running ATM.

Still would have enough for the graphics card after that.

Although I might still go for my AMD Phenom II build.

But that's a BIG might.

Okay - I noticed the speed difference AFTER I had posted -_-

I think that is it - will order tomorrow once the banks have reopened.
